This is our third week in Sydney. On Wednesday, we visited several universities. We didn’t just go sightseeing; we also learned some interesting facts. My favorite was the University of Sydney, which looked like a castle. Its appearance reminded me of the castle scenes from the Harry Potter movies. It was so beautiful that I couldn’t take my eyes off it.
We attended a lesson about honey in one of the classrooms. To determine the quality of honey, we used a table for analysis, considering factors such as clarity, viscosity, color, odor, taste, and my personal rating of overall quality. Although one of the honeys, called Sugarbag Bee Honey, tasted like medicine, it is quite expensive. I couldn’t believe it because I didn’t like its taste. My favorite honey that I tasted yesterday was Leatherwood Honey. It tasted unique and perfectly suited my palate. I also learned that bees are very important in Australia because they not only produce honey but also play a crucial role in pollination between flowers. Without bees, flowers cannot bear fruit.
