Field trip on Saturday
Last Saturday, we went to Bondi Beach. It was a beautiful, sunny day, and the ocean was as blue as the sky. The people there were very relaxed; they swam, jogged, and surfed. Some of my friends bought swimsuits and played in the waves. They really enjoyed their time at the beach. My friends and I tried to touch the waves, and in the process, our clothes got completely wet. We also took a lot of photos because the scenery was so beautiful.
Afterward, we strolled along the street, which was lined with many different kinds of shops. We came across an ice cream shop where I got the Marshmallow Sky flavor, and Hailey, one of my friends, chose the chocolate flavor. The ice cream was a bit expensive, but it tasted really good. Then we went to McDonald’s, where we noticed that the meal prices were much higher than in Taiwan.
Besides the beach, we also visited Sydney Tower, one of the famous landmarks in Australia. It was incredibly tall, and the view from the top was spectacular. We met a new friend named Davin, who was traveling and making friends around the world. He had many cool tattoos on his body and shared some of his travel experiences with us, which were very interesting. I hope he can visit Taiwan one day.
What a wonderful day it was!
