My Memorable First Week in Australia
This is my first week in Australia. Every Wednesday and Saturday, we go on sightseeing tours, and it has been really fun.
On Wednesday, we went to the Blue Mountains National Park. Our group took cable cars and trains, and we walked around to see the Blue Mountains from different viewpoints. The trees in the Blue Mountains looked blue in the sunlight, almost like the ocean. As we went further into the mountains, we saw an old well and a strong horse left by ancient people. We also visited a lookout point with our guide and listened carefully to the sounds of nature.
On Saturday, we visited Bondi Beach, an aquarium, and the Sydney Tower. The sun was shining, and the sea sparkled like stars. At the aquarium, we saw small penguins, and the sharks’ teeth were really scary. Walking on the underwater trail felt like swimming in the ocean with colorful fish all around. From the Sydney Tower Eye, the buildings below looked like toys. That day was very impressive.
I am thankful to the Miaoli County Government for giving me this chance to visit Australia. I am using this opportunity to see new things and make great memories.
