學生學習見聞札記 建臺中學(國中部) 江向洋 Ivan
This is my first week in class at Marsden High School, and I feel both nervous and excited. Actually, I didn’t understand much of what the teacher was saying this week, but luckily my study partner, Margad, was very patient and explained things to me in simpler English, which made it easier for me. Margad is from Mongolia and really loves basketball, which is an interest we share. During my first week here, I also met many friends from different countries, such as Brazil, India, and Mongolia.
 
These friends are very friendly and willing to show me around the school and its facilities. I have also tried to communicate with them in English. Although they sometimes speak too quickly, I can still catch the meaning of what they are saying. I look forward to getting to know more about the environment and culture of Marsden High School next week.
